Alison is very aware of the wrath she gets when she plays with my camera, but I am constantly finding these treasures every time I am looking through my photos. What am I going to do with her???
If looks could kill......her poor husband :)
I don't even think she knows what this sign is.....wonder where she got it.
This is Larry's fav!

This girl is just one of a kind, and for those who know her you would agree :)

Island Park, ID 2010 !!!!

This is the longest post EVER!! We just got back from an amazing, blissful, stressfree trip up to Island Park. A HUGE thank you to my parents who put the whole thing together. Here are a few of the many things we did all week! Just wanted to share with all my friends.
Our second day was spent in Yellowstone. Here are a few highlights....mostly the buffalo herd behind them here, and the geysers.....other than that it was alot of ARE WE THERE YET???

These are pics of THE GATHERING PLACE!! You should check it out online. It is on vrbo.com.

Larry was able to come up with us for the first 3 days. Our highlight was this ride up to Big Springs. No I wasn't hunting, my mom was determined to not let me freeze.....thought I was going to die I was so HOT!!!
There was a fun pool table in the basement and Syd and I played a real crazy game. Guess you had to be there, but the pics talk for themselves. The 8 ball was here throughout the game and by the end all the other balls were surrounding it which made it pretty CrAzY

We had craft time....it was a success. Melanie and I took the kids on a nature walk and we painted rocks.
Here you have us out in the yard playing a mad game of kickball. Go DAMON!!!
We spent most of the week 4-wheeling all around Island Park. They have some amazing trails and it is breathtaking! Grandpa let the boys drive and they did so good. Here is Sydne, Cora and Randy plus some of my dad with the kids.....

This was the momma moose spotted right by our cabin. It had a baby just a couple feet away. Can you say RUN!!!! (I read Hatchet when I was a kid so I aint no dummy :)
After the wee little ones were put down to bed, we would play card games! Actually we played all day too when we weren't out on the 4-wheelers and playing with moose in the backyard....
Sorry Syd...ha ha I had to put this. It was the funniest moment because right before I clicked the button to take the picture, they were both looking in a totally different direction. They both turned and pulled a face at the last second.....not even planned. I am going to miss these guys ( I know, I know they live just down the street, but I honestly never cross paths....sad.)
Here's the gang at the Sand Dunes on our way home from the week of bliss..........
My fam took a trip up to the Dunes right before Larry was going to come home off his mission. One last trip with all of us together (except for Wes who was on his mission). This brought back some FUN memories....it is so much fun to see my kids creating the same.....
Not as high as I could get back in college, but still impressive right?

On our way home we stopped in Rexburg at the Sand Dunes! The kids LOVED it!! Here are some of our favorite pics......

Who would have guessed it??

Today we plucked our corn from our garden! Yep....I grew that. A HUGE thanks goes to my wonderful green thumbed neighbor Jodie Bishop for her coaching and I couldn't have done it without the seeds that she lent me. It didn't look quite as well as her garden, but I don't think anyone could duplicate what she creates each year!

Broccoli and Fish

My mom gave me some Halibut from Alaska the other day. I have to admit, when I was cooking it the smell was horrible and to top it off I steamed some broccoli with it. It was pretty hilarious when I sat down to eat with the kiddos because Zac and Kaden had gotten some clothes pins from the laundry room without me knowing. Thought it would make a funny post. My kids hate anything green or fishy or.......practically everything. Never mind, Zac is an awesome eater! He just thought it was funny. I like this picture of a tear running down Zac's face. He was laughing pretty hard.

Wedding

My oldest niece on Larry's side, Laurie, was married on Friday, Sept 3. She asked the three amigos to be her flower girls. These girls had so much fun!!!! They had these dresses made by Tabitha and Grandma Pauline. Wendy found matching bows which by the end of the night was missing.....oh well. After the girls sprinkled their petals all over they stood in front as Bishop Jensen began the ceremony. Ali saw me in the crowd and shouted "Hi mom!" and gave me a big thumbs up! It was so funny!!! Even though Katie had the stomach flu not even 24 hours before, and since then Ali and Anna have been throwing up............. it was worth it. They had a ball!!!

SuMmeR 2010

Isn't this a funny shot of them in a row !! I thought it worked out nicely. This is a pleasant picture of them right before church today.......we did not come home looking like this of course.
It is that time of year again! Kaden is doing his last year at the new elementary school, and Zac is entering 3rd grade. Crazy right?
The three younger kids and I spent the day at Bear Lake while the others were hiking to the lake. The kids had so much fun, especially Madi as you can tell.
Larry and Kaden spent some quality time backpacking into White Pine Lake over night!! They had alot of fun!! I've never seen Kaden so dirty as when I picked him up the next day :)
My oldest niece is getting married so we spend a whole day in Layton watching her pick her dress!! This is the one, but it will be completely white! She looked beautiful!!
We had a tea party for Sydne's 22 nd birthday party! My mom really out does herself :)
This summer was like most summers, not alot going on. There were however, some monumental events like this one above, Zac's baptism! Isn't he handsome!!!

SEND STEWART TO THE MAYO CLINIC

These are my friends the Stout's. Stewart is the loving husband and father in this picture. He suffers from heart defects. He has atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and AV nodal Re-entry tachycardia. He has had 5 unsuccessful heart surgeries in the last two years of his life, and the local Utah doctors say there is nothing they can do anymore and have referred him to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. They have to save up $10,000 dollars for this trip. He is unable to hold a job because he passes out 20-40 times a day.

All of our neighbors are teaming up together to try to get them to Minnesota! They are such a wonderful family! They have created a blog to donate. It is

www.sendstewarttomayoclinic.blogspot.com

Can you even imagine if word got around to just 10,000 people and everyone donated just $1! We can help so much! Thank you for taking the time to read this! Now let's do something about it!

Larry had last Sat. off so we decided a couple hours before to load the van and get over to Hoogle Zoo! As you can tell it was a VERY hot day, but I am so grateful that I have a carefree husband sometimes, that can help our family to have a little fun every once in awhile :)

My favorite pic is this of Zac and the giraffe. We watched this guy forever. Pretty interesting to see how they eat with their long black tongues. Madi was extremely captivated!

MY NEW WOLF!!!

Yes, I am the proud mother of a wolf. Zac turned
8 on the 10th of June! What a fun age.
Scouts
Baptism.......
So much fun! They had me go up and paint
fun symbols on his face that represented
several things like courage, loyalty, ect.......
He looked like he was about to cry because he was
in front of alot of people. In my head all I could say was,
"pull it together man! Don't cry!"
My poor Zac got my horrible disease of shyness.
Hopefully scouts will be a big factor on
getting him out of his shell.
I love this guy to pieces!!!!!!!!!!

Anna's Tea Party

Ali's cousin Anna is turning 5 years old. Her grandma Peggy Low who lives in North Logan wanted Anna's two favorite cousins to come to a Tea Party at her house. It was so fun! The girls looked so cute, and Peggy had so many beautiful things. She decorated so beautifully and made exquisite little cakes and chocolate strawberries. The girls had apple juice and we had mint herbal tea. These are some memorable pictures of our afternoon on her back patio enjoying little Anna. Hats off to you Peggy! I had the most enjoyable afternoon!

I SEWED!!!!!!!

So I was looking for some dresses for my sister-in-law's wedding this weekend, and low and behold my friend Amber Bradley had some available! They are adorable but weren't the right colors so she just told me to pick up some material. I panicked really because I do not sew. So I did it anyway, actually had Larry pick up the material. First I thought it looked like my grandma's old couch, but surprisingly he pulled through. I had enough fabric from the sash to make these fun hair flower clips. Wow, I felt like a mom. Anyways, it took us from 8:30-midnight! We had fun and I will be forever grateful for Amber's help. Also big hug out to Holly Krusi for letting us use her surger. Now on to the cake........
